With Pig-Let starters, you get an easily movable unit that you can place right where the piglets are moving.
For the weakest piglets, this means that they have access to nutrition from day 0.
About the Pig-LET Starter
Pig-LET Starter is a portable device and can therefore be easily moved around and placed in the areas where the piglets are kept. We recommend placing Pig-LET Starter in the pen (zone 2) for the first 2-3 days of life. Here, the weakest piglets can drink and get the nutrition they need to survive. Afterwards, Pig-LET Starter can be moved outside the farrowing pen.
Pig-LET Starter can easily be placed in the farrowing pen at higher temperatures. We recommend using milk products with a low pH value, e.g. YoghurLac®.
Supplied with 1 polymer bowl with molded thread for mounting the bottle holder, as well as 2 finger screws, bottle, and bottle holder. Pig-LET Starter can be ordered individually, but is also included in our complete products Pig-LET 2-in-1 and Pig-LET All-in-1.
That's why Pig-LET starters work so well
Pig-LET Starter has been tested by Danish pig producers with good results.
The piglets learn to drink from Pig-LET Starter when the milk is appetizing. Therefore, the milk is dispensed little by little as the piglet drinks.
We also recommend using milk with a low pH value.
Using Pig-LET Starter
It is recommended to start with Pig-LET Starter immediately after farrowing. Pig-LET Starter is placed in zone 2 (the piglet pen) from day 0 to day 2 or
3, depending on requirements.
Pig-LET Starter is then replaced with Pig-LET 2-in-1 or Pig-LET All-in-1, which is placed in zone 3 so that all feed and drink is gathered in one place. And ONLY
one place.
