Our history
Best Farm A/S’s mission is to reduce mortality among piglets by optimizing conditions in the farrowing pen with new solutions.
The company was founded by Lars Brunse, who has over 30 years of experience in the industry and has helped develop several patents and products that are widely used in international pig production today.
At Best Farm, we develop and design our own product solutions – and we test everything before it goes on sale.
Our focus areas are:
- What is best for the pigs
- How can we ease the workload for those who care for them
- How can we increase productivity
We can supply both individual products and larger, tailor-made concept solutions.

Starting point for development
With shared experience in pig production, Best Farm has gathered the best options for further optimizing the farrowing pen. Best Farm offers a 360-degree solution focused on improving the environment in the farrowing pen, resulting in lower mortality and better productivity.
Best Farm also future-proofs the farrowing pen with free-range sows and, of course, with animal welfare in mind. Best Farm is already well advanced in the development of new solutions based on solid experience and practical testing.
Our starting point for developing solutions for the farrowing pen is that testing and development take place in the barn.
“You won’t find the best solution behind a desk.”
For new products to be successful, it is essential that piglets can use them. A product may be highly innovative, but if piglet behavior has not been taken into account, the solution will not work in practice. That is why all innovation starts in the farrowing pen.
